Morning all, Rangers travel to Easter Road to face a resurgent Hibs side. Today's game is just as big as Thursday's. Win it well and there's maybe a light at the end of the tunnel given our away from. Lose the game or drop points and Thursdays result is almost totally irrelevant.
This is not the same low confidence Hibs team that we beat 1-0 at Ibrox earlier this season. They are playing well and have had some great results in recent games. I'm still unsure what Rangers team is going to turn up. Hibs will try and come at us and that should play to the strengths of this team.
It's disappointing that we haven't seen any reinforcement in the window so far. The backline really pulled together well against Celtic, but that doesn't mean we should be carrying on with the makeshift lineup. We are one more injury from bringing in an Academy player in Leon King.
Thankfully for the rest of the team, we still have Raskin as his suspension doesn't kick in till the Dundee game. He's been crucial to all of our good performances this season, losing him today would have been disastrous.
I'm a bit unsure about what we will see today. We followed up a positive performance in the league cup final with 3 poor league games. If we do that again it won't matter if Clement wins the last two Old Firm games 3-0, the league would end up miles out of reach.
Let's hope we can really kick on and win well today. Enjoy your Sunday folks.
